The previous owner, Nick Molnar, billionaire co-founder of Afterpay, originally listed the property for $28 million.
However, Rihanna secured a significant discount—likely leveraging L.A.’s new mansion tax, which took effect in April. By closing the deal on March 31, she saved Molnar an extra $1.1 million in taxes.
