Drogba’s luxury mansion: A closer look at the football legend’s £6.25m Surrey home with six bedrooms and an indoor pool

Considered by many to be among Chelsea’s finest players, Drogba scored 164 goals in 381 games throughout two different stints with the team. Along with four FA Cups, three League Cups, and the Champions League, he won the Premier League four times.

Even though the Ivorian’s second tenure at Stamford Bridge ended in 2015, he still owns a home on Oxshott’s prestigious Crown Estate, which is near Chelsea’s Cobham training facility.

However, the 44-year-old is now selling the house, which has a large swimming pool, a recreational complex, five reception rooms, six bedrooms, and seven bathrooms.

Didier Drogba, a 44-year-old Premier League legend, has listed his 11,000-square-foot, six-bedroom Surrey property for sale.

The Ivorian has maintained ownership of a home on the prestigious Crown Estate even after his second spell at Chelsea ended in 2015.

Six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and five reception rooms are also on offer to house hunters willing to pay £6.25million

Widely-regarded as one of the greatest players in Chelsea’s history, Drogba scored 164 goals in 381 appearances for the Blues

‘To the front is a study and multipurpose reception room, and to the back is a sensational dual aspect drawing room of huge proportions, family room and large open plan kitchen, equipped with modern built-in appliances and central island for casual dining, leading through to a delightful high roofed orangery.

‘Set behind electric gates, the property sits on just under one acre of land. A large driveway offers ample parking and a two storey, multi-vehicle garage which provides further accommodation with a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment.

‘To the rear is a south facing landscaped garden, with manicured lawns stretching out from a terrace area off the main house – a fabulous spot for relaxation and entertaining.’

Even after his second stint at Chelsea ended in 2015, the Ivorian has continued to possess a house on the coveted Crown Estate.

Additional space is provided by a two-story, multi-vehicle garage and a one-bedroom apartment with one bathroom.

When you first arrive at the property, the magnificent reception hall is centered on a sweeping staircase that leads to every floor.

The Crown Estate is situated halfway between the M25 and the A3 into downtown London, and equally spaced from Heathrow and Gatwick.

One of the most prominent and exclusive neighborhoods in the south of England is known as the Crown Estate, so named because it was formerly Crown hunting land. It is near some of Surrey’s top schools and encircled by open fields and woodland.

The property was shared by Drogba and his Malian spouse, Lalla Diakite, whom he divorced in 2020.

In a brief statement at the time, the former striker added, “We are still very close, and our main focus has been our children and protecting them and the family’s privacy.”

The couple has three kids, including 21-year-old Isaac, who played for Guingamp’s reserve club in the French second division and briefly attended Chelsea’s academy.

With 65 goals in 105 caps, Drogba is the Ivory Coast’s all-time leading scorer. He originally came to England in 2004 when Chelsea paid £24 million to acquire him from Marseille.

In his first two seasons, he helped the Blues win back-to-back Premier League titles. He stayed until 2012, when he scored the game-winning penalty in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich.

After stints in China and Turkey, Drogba rejoined Chelsea for a last season in 2014, helping them to another league championship. A stint in the USA marked the end of his playing career.
