One of the most significant luxury vehicles ever produced is the Mercedes-Maybach S 680, designed by Virgil Abloh. Yes, this is one of the last German V12 vehicles.

The estimated value of Virgil’s Maybach is between $500,000 and $600,000. They are frequently owned by well-known musicians, producers, and other influential individuals. Nigerian artist Davido, DJ Khaled, and Alicia Keys (who received it from her husband Swizz Beatz) are a few of them.

However, the most well-known owner of a Maybach S 680 might be Lil Baby. Despite having it for a long time, it wasn’t present at the most recent Rick Ross Car Show alongside all of his other fantastic vehicles. We now understand why.

These images of a Virgil Abloh Maybach with unique wheels were just posted by the rapper’s favorite local auto customizer in Atlanta. It appears likely that Lil Baby designed his $500,000 limited-edition Mercedes because there aren’t many of these in the globe.

These images were released by Road Show International. That is a store in Atlanta, Georgia, as we have stated. Numerous modifications have been made to the Virgil Abloh Edition, including smoked lights, tinted windows and windshield, ceramic paint finish, and a Maybach emblem that illuminates on the trunk lid.

However, the two most significant modifications are the 20mm lower suspension package and the new 22-inch “RS Edition” wheels that have been powder-coated “Virgil.”

The wheels on the Virgil variant were initially painted the same shade as the sand paint on the body. “Maybach Exclusive forged” is the name given to these wheels. We enjoy the style, but other people don’t. It has a fairly retro appearance, reminiscent of the typical monoblock design of the late 1980s.

Was Lil Baby’s unusual Maybach design a complete mess? Absolutely not. These multi-spoke alloys’ factory designs closely resemble those of the Maybach 6 Cabrio prototype. These wheels aren’t “RS Edition,” in our opinion. Rather, we believe that these are either wheels from the previous W222 generation or Forgiatos.

The most well-known roles of American designer Virgil Abloh are as the creative director of Louis Vuitton and as the owner of his own company, Off-White. Unfortunately, he passed away from cancer in 2021, right before the Maybach was set to make its debut.

He is widely regarded as a product design genius, and Mercedes collaborated with him on a few projects. Project Geandewagen, which debuted in 2020 and was modeled around the race G-Class, was the first. It was low to the ground and broad. Project Maybach, a massive off-road vehicle with an electric powertrain, came next. The S 680 was also assigned dry sand and obsidian black hues.
