BTS’ V and Blackpink star Jennie had caused quite the stir after a video of them on an alleged date in Paris went viral online. Now, the French photographer, who claimed to have filmed the clip, has revealed the story behind it.
Is Jennie and V’s Paris date video real?
During a recent interview, French photographer Amar Taoualit shared the backstory of V and Jennie’s alleged Paris date clip and clicks. Amar revealed that while he usually photographs American celebrities, when his friend, who is a huge K-pop fan, shared a tip about V’s trip to Paris for a luxury brand event, he stepped out to capture the K-pop star.
After waiting outside a club in Champs-Élysées for two hours, Amar spotted V. However, the BTS star was allegedly not alone. The pap claimed that he saw V and Jennie leaving hand in hand. He immediately captured the duo and sent the pic to his informer friend who expressed her excitement and said, “Omg, this is never seen before.”
While the photographer tried to get more pics and videos of the alleged couple, even going as far as following them around on a bike, Jennie and V ended up noticing him due to which he had to stop filming. He revealed that security had approached him, but decided to let him go as he didn’t pose a threat.

At the end, Amar Taoualit revealed that many Korean media outlets reached out to him for the video, but he decided to share it on his social media handles instead.
