Initial information said the plane deviated from the runway, according to Flightradar.
A small plane crashed and exploded into a fireball after taking off from London Southend Airport (UK) on July 13.
The small Beech B200 aircraft was believed to be en route to the Netherlands. Images of a large fire and black smoke were circulating on social media, with a plume of black smoke rising about a hundred metres into the sky.
A huge plume of black smoke rose from the side of the runway.
The flight to Lelystad was scheduled to take off at 3:45 p.m. but after a 10-minute delay, it appears the plane veered off the runway, according to Flightradar.
Essex Police and ambulance are at the scene and people are advised to avoid the area.
One user wrote on X: ‘Just witnessed the Beechcraft crash on take-off at Southend Airport about 40 minutes after a Cessna also left the runway. My condolences to everyone on board. How tragic. Just waved goodbye to the crew a few minutes ago.’
