This time, they harvested 4 super giant watermelons, the total weight of these 4 watermelons amounted to 537 Chinese pounds (equivalent to 268.5kg). On average, each fruit weighs 134 kg (67.1 kg). In which, the largest fruit weighs 139 kg (69.5 kg).

Every year, the farmers will take care of the giant watermelons and choose the largest, best quality melon to be the watermelon king. King watermelons are usually more than a hundred pounds in weight.
According to posted information, last year when the rain was favorable, the “queen” watermelon weighed 193 kg (96.5 kg). This year is constantly dry, directly affecting the growth of melons, so the “queen” of watermelon weighs only 139 pounds (69.5kg).
